Ashwagandha Can Improve Your Mood & Well Being

Some plants look alike, but not every plant is made equal! Every single plant and variety as a botanical name, which is how we tell them apart. 

Today, let’s talk about Ashwagandha, aka Withania somnifera.

Ashwagandha is known scientifically to

  • promote healthy mental cognition
  • support healthy energy levels
  • improve stress management
  • enhance mood and focus

Although it is only one plant, we know that there are about 35 different compounds that come from ashwagandha. Depending on what effect you are looking for, depends on the concentrate, and more specifically the extraction.  Have I lost you yet? This is all to say, be very clear and understand the actual ingredient you are ingesting and know it’s source.

I choose to use holistic plant based products that specifically identify the botanical names and the actual registered trademark compounds used in scientific study.  If not, you may just be chewing on an everyday leaf….
